The Consulting Librarian Club, while in development, has unfortunately encountered a scarcity of resources. When appropriate, this website will contain information regarding the adventures of one of our more notable members, Ada Benedict Chartwell. While slightly fictionalized, they are based on possible facts of events that could have happened. The Treasurer felt the sale of such things would add much needed funds to the coffer, and that Ada should be the first to be profiled, since it was due to her … adventures … that the Club needs to find a new location to meet. And pay for damages to the landlord of the previous location. And refill the Member Medical Fund.
Thus, in a token of good faith that such stories are worth your time, Archivist #9 presents a synopsis of the forthcoming tales:
Field Academician Ada Benedict Chartwell dons the persona of a Consulting Librarian as she visits late 19th century alternate realities in order to complete assignments given by the Chancellor, fulfill contract work solicited from various private businesses (for their monetary compensation is far better than that of educational institutions), and follow the meandering and dangerous trail of incidents initiated by someone intent on her finding the Reconnecters, the publicly-denied yet highly rumored elites of the Fortuitous Fellowship.
